Supporting families through strengths-based parent coaching

I partner with counties and agencies to provide trauma-informed, family-systems-based parent coaching for families who are open to reflection, skill-building, and growth.

Coaching works alongside existing services and supports parents in building confidence, consistency, and stronger relationships at home.

This page is designed to make referrals simple, clear, and efficient.

How to Get Started

There are two easy ways to move forward, depending on where you are in the process.

Option 1: Schedule a Call

For new referrals, questions, or partnership conversations

Sometimes a short conversation is the best place to start.

Schedule a Partnership Call

Use this option if:

  • You are unsure if parent coaching is a good fit
  • You want to talk through a family situation
  • You are exploring contracts, funding, or services
  • You are new to working with Parent Coach Connection

Option 2: Submit a Referral

For established partners ready to refer a family

If you have worked with me before and have a family ready for coaching, you can send referral information directly.

Submit a Referral

This option allows you to:

  • Share key background information
  • Identify county involvement or funding source
  • Move the referral forward without scheduling a call

What to Expect After a Referral

  • Referral information is reviewed
  • I connect with the family to assess fit
  • If coaching is appropriate, services begin
  • Communication occurs as needed with the referring partner

Parent coaching is not therapy. It is a collaborative, strengths-based process focused on helping parents practice new skills over time.

When Coaching Is a Good Fit

Parent coaching may be helpful when:

  • Parents are open to reflection and change
  • Family stress or communication challenges are present
  • A parent feels overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward
  • Families would benefit from practical, nonjudgmental support alongside existing services

Common outcomes include:

  • Improved communication and consistency at home
  • Stronger parent–child relationships
  • Increased confidence and self-regulation skills
  • Greater engagement with schools, services, and supports
